A new revved-up version of its best-selling body lotion, a breakthrough in skin care, a line of bold-colored lipsticks, vitamin supplements and a fresh interpretation of its most unforgettable fragrance were on the spotlight as Avon Philippines launched its line-up for the first four months of the year.

Beauty queens Shamcey Supsup and Janine Tugonon, both Miss Universe runners-up, hosted the event at White Space in Makati City.

The event also served as a celebration of Avon’s 35th year in the Philippines.

“As we celebrate our 35th year, we look back to our successes and use these as our inspirations to move boldly into the future, step into an adventure beyond dreams. The adventure of making these dreams come true for women every single day. Through our best-in-technology, best-in-value beauty products, through our meaningful earnings opportunity, through the causes we champion,” said Bob Briddon, senior vice president and president for Asia Pacific and Philippines.

Each new product was introduced with an image model. Georgina Wilson is the beauty ambassador for Avon’s Skin So Soft and White Glutathione Whitening Renewal Hand and Body Lotion, an enhanced formulation of the brand’s best-selling body lotion. The product is now infused with glutathione, a known powerful antioxidant that controls and helps inhibit active melanin production. It contains meadowfoam oil which has a lovely musk-floral scent and gives the skin a scent from the essences of crisp green apple, soft amber, warm musk and clean fresh wood
